Meet Brae. The living system that holds the whole of your strategy, keeping it alive as you learn, evolve, and grow.
The state of things
Everything assumed to be stable is shifting. There used to be a rhythm to work, to building, to community. The world today seems designed to fragment and fracture. Funding splinters. Teams scatter. Attention is pulled, and then breaks.
The tools and methods we use to build also fall short. Purpose and commitment get broken into documents, departments, and steps until the whole is no more. The thinking and the thing meant to carry it get separated, and the transformation everyone is reaching for dies in the gap.
For the first time, the whole moves with you.
Brae holds all of it. Commitment, constraints, capacity, people, money, and the dependencies between them. Change anything, and it shows up everywhere. The structure moves with you, whether you're one organization or a multi-layered coalition trying to change the fabric of a city, a state, or a nation.
Change one thing, everything responds.
Move a number, turn something off, shift a priority — and the whole model answers. Cost, reach, sequence, what's now at risk. Not a document you update. A system that recalculates, wired to the whole of your strategy.

“Bolton Tech Grant is a go! Can't use any $$ for Health, so put those on hold for now.”
“Amazing! And understood. It's been updated!”

Built together
from day one.
None of it arrives finished. Your strategy takes shape inside Brae with you. You comment, you push back, you change it. The argument lives on the plan, not in someone's inbox.
Framing
85% of families are connected to a care coordinator within 5 days of intake.
Suggest EditFamilies report improved coordination across services.
Suggest EditMedian time from referral to first home visit is under 14 days.
Suggest Edit‘Improved coordination’ isn't something we can measure. This won't survive a year-end review.
Prioritize, focus,
and move forward.
Decide where to go and what that actually means for making things real. Connect strategy to implementation. The space that often remains invisible is now visible.
Critical Pathway
How We Work
Most strategy work has a discovery phase that ends before the building starts. Ours doesn’t. You’re in the room while it’s being made — watching it wire up, pushing back, changing it. What you end up with is something you built, not something handed over.
The chasm almost nobody crosses is between strategy on paper and action in the world. Brae builds the connections across it, so a decision made in a convening has somewhere to go.
By the time we step back, you’re not receiving a plan. You’re already running the thing you built. When the engagement ends, the thinking doesn’t.

Who We’re For
Brae works with policy makers and funders, leaders and operators — creating the structure that helps big ideas take shape, and then retain their shape, as they grow and move between collaborators and stakeholders.
They know that the solution won’t be tidy — and lean in anyway. They hold visions so big that audacity, trust, and tenacity are required.
Mission Keepers
Organizations and enterprises who refuse to let growth dilute what they stand for. Who want to stay true, and stay brave, as they scale.
Ground Builders
Funders who want to get real strategic tools in the hands of the people doing the work. The next evolution of capacity building.
Portfolio Weavers
Foundations who want to strengthen a whole portfolio at once, building an easy-to-navigate strategic backbone connecting directly to the grantees.
Coalition Holders
Multi-stakeholder efforts trying to hold and drive one strategy across many players — from city agencies to CBOs to private partners — without it fragmenting.
Who We Are
Between us, we’ve built strategy for complex human services organizations, led strategy work inside government, helped shape major city coalitions, and designed the human protocols that keep mission-driven teams centered and honest. Again and again, we watched strong work strain against structures and systems not strong enough to hold it — and move with it. Not anyone’s failure, just the gap everyone hits. Brae is the answer we wished we’d had.
